The Journey Ahead 🌅
-
This week you're learning to see your journal as a place to go, not a chore to do, or skill to perform. This place is like catching up with a good friend. It feels easy. No matter how much time has gone by, it's always like nothing passed. There is no expectation of performing for value. And like a best friend, it just gets you! It wants you to be weird, wonderful, and whimsical.
-
This week you're building your own visual vocabulary for expressing your inner world and overcoming fear of the blank page. When you have more than words to choose from, your journal becomes a place where moods, memories, and ideas can be expressed through new and surprising ways.
-
This week you’ll create entries that invite you to be present so the days weeks or months don't pass you by in a blur. They allows you to capture vignettes of your life you might otherwise forget.
You’ll also explore playful entries that invite you to loosen your expectations so the page becomes a place of curiosity rather than a place of performance.
-
This week you’ll create entries that show you how to tap into your inner wisdom. The page is where you can acknowledge and transform your feelings without being overwhelmed by them. This invites your creativity become an outlet for settling in between therapy, messy moments, and uncertain transitions.
-
Inspiration and hope are how the journal becomes a companion rather than a to-do list or a chore. This week you’ll make entries that turn your journal into a gift for your past and future self. It's a record of your unique flavor of interests, fascinations, and wellspring of nourishment. Your pages becomes a beautiful artifact representing resilience, growth, and patient inner-transformation.
